Racers wear ALL sorts of costumes- there is one guy that runs in just a loin cloth (OKAY, TMI, I know)....my XC team and I will be keeping it on the DL compared to that. We're whipping out our cute tutus and our team XC shirts. Some dress up as Santa & Reindeer. Which I think is so cool...
While most of this race tomorrow is going to be fun, I'm still the competitive girl who sets out a pace for a race. I'm aiming for around 7:20/mile especially with going through rivers and stuff and over rocks and what not! (Thank you Google for all the random pictures from previous years!)
I got my Nike watch packed AND charged,
my pre-run fuel all in my lunch box,
my costume/running clothes set aside,
my homework not done (saving the stress for later you know),
and my feet put up reading my magazine. You know you're a runner when you're reading a magazine about running and look across the room and see trophies and race bibs from races.
Oh and tip: don't stress out before the race like I said about the homework. And you're socks? Don't stress out about them being matching either :) ^
7,000 racers will be there tomorrow!!!! Let's go!! A Race Review will be up tomorrow!

Are you racing tomorrow?! Tell me all about it! If not, what is your training run?
Favorite pre-run food?
I used to always go with Frosted Mini Wheats. But now I just go really with whatever that is less fiber. Yogurt seems to work well with me.
Favorite post-race activity?
This is easy! Finding some good food and tomorrow will defintely be putting on warm, clean clothes!
