Happy Thanksgiving!

Top Ten Things I'm Thankful For:

1) Getting out of school today. Tests were stressful and homework was getting to be too much. I am so GLAD to have a break. (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

2) The pasta and food I just ate. Food in general is good. I am thankful every day I have fridge full of food and cupboards full of food. I could not imagine going day by day wondering where my next meal will come from.

3) I have a job and I am able to work part-time as a teenager. I'm responsible enough to go to work every day. I love my job, even when it seems long and boring. I get to see everyone in my community and make some moola for running clothes and race entries :) Oh, and gas. Oh, and food. Oh, and clothes.

4) I'm thankful for my Grandparents. My Grandparents have a special place in my heart, and I love them geniuely. A lot of people tell me I'm a perfect mix of my Grandmas. I think so, too. They are the most hardworking people I know and I respect them greatly.

5) My wonderful and supportive parents. They are my rock and love me no matter what, even though we are so incredibly different. They have shown me that I don't need to be perfect all the time and living life to the fullest and your way is better than being obbessed with success.

6) My brothers. My brother, Wyatt, is a fire victim survivor and has come along ways the last couple of years since the accident. He is amazing and shows me every day the strength God gives us. I almost lost my brother, Dustin, too to a Type 1 Diabetic coma. His blood sugar was 1,014 and was life flighted to Des Moines hospital. God blessed us and he's with us today. Wyatt was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes after his accident. They are truly troopers every day and open my eyes more and more.

7) A warm house and a comfy bed to sleep in. I pray for those who are homeless and don't get this simple thing we probably over look every day.

8) The funniest friends I could ask for. We have our spats. We don't always get a long. At the end of the day , though, I love them.

9) The talents God has given me. I couldn't imagine life without running, singing, dancing, cheering, all of that. Thank you God!

10) The ability that I'm able to sit back and take a moment in my busy life to be at home, enjoy myself, be with my loved ones, eat as much food, blog as much as I want, run as much as I want, be on Facebook and twitter, text who I want, be with who I want, the list could go on. It's just nice...to be. And I'm thankful.

No run for me today. After those 6 miles yesterday and the sprinting workout, I decided to take it easy. I really am feeling a 10 mile run tomorrow though. The next couple of days I don't have to work and have plently of time to get my run on. Thankful. :)

What are you thankful for?

Are you running on the treadmill more lately?

What are you most excited about eating tomorrow?
I don't know why, but I keep saying pumpkin pie. I don't even like pumpkin pie, unless my taste buds are changing! I'm most excited to eat Sweet Potatoes!
